YOUTH WORK
We are very proud of the range, extent, quality and quantity of the services we offer to the children & young People involved in G-Force, and have always made this the main focus of our efforts.
Everything G-Force does is in line with the Government initiative 'Every Child Matters'; the aims being:
Being Healthy
Staying Safe
Enjoying and Achieving
Making a positive Difference
and Achieving Economic Wellbeing
To give you an insight into what we get up to we have broken this down into year by year details, which not only show the development opportunities being made available to the children & young People through G-Force, but also shows the development of G-Force itself .
We also offer Duke of Edinburgh award opportunities as well as supporting Young People through their Millennium Awards. If you are interested in doing either ( and both are great fun to do) please contact us and we will advise you as to what we have on offer.
Basic Overview of our work with Children and Young people in 2007:
- G-Force worked with 250 individual children and young people
- G-Force provided 462 individual projects and activities for them to get involved in
- There were 5609 places created on these projects and activities
- Result being 15753 hours of face to face work with children and young people
- G-Force has an informal youth development and mentoring route which has resulted in 3 of our young members actually being employed by G-Force as sessional workers.
